Does Die Antwoord even eat? Turns out both Ninja and Yolandi Vi$$er are human after all, after they were spotted chowing bunnies in the Mother City a while back.
Die Antwoord is hands down responsible for permanently inking the word “zef” in the urban dictionary. If they didn’t, they should have! The famous white rappers from Cape Town in South Africa are the epitome of zeffness and the culture that comes with it.
It appears that the controversial duo, whose romantic relationship ended shortly before the 2014 release of their album “Donker Mag,” has reignited their flame behind the DJ decks and bed sheets. Last time we checked, Vi$$er and Ninja kissed and made up after declaring their everlasting love for one another on film in the 2024 documentary ZEF: The Story of Die Antwoord.
In 2023, rumours where doing the rounds that Die Antwoord reunited when they were snapped chowing down some dope dishes at Urban Playground, that uber-radical street food joint in Maitland everyone is raving about.
It’s times like these when it helps to be close with the chefs, who spilled the beans on what Die Antwoord picked to eat from the mostly meat-focussed menu. Turns out both Ninja and Vi$$er share a passion for veganism after devouring every single dish on the vegan menu.
Was it any good? You bet your puss it was! The vegan feast at Urban Playground was an absolute hit with Die Antwoord, no pun.
It’s unclear where Die Antwoord finds themselves these days, but I bet my own puss that when they return to Cape Town, they will head back for another vegan feast at Urban Playground. Only fools will not return to eat, play and love at the city’s kiffest playground with an army of gangsta chefs manning the kitchen!
