Friendly people with wines that offer something different. Their bistro offers some of the best food I’ve tasted in a while. Comfort food at it’s best! The punk-style monkeys in the garden is something to see! Another gem in the Slanghoek Valley. read more here: read external review

4th farm of 12 and by then my palate was feeling rather tired of average and boring wines. so this farm was a breath of fresh air. Of the lot we had been to in slanghoek at that point Jasonshill offered the best. Gerda our host was a bit reserved and shy at beginning as time progressed she became a bit more comfortable. Their wines where much better and was finally relieved to see a viognier. Gerda told us about the monkeys and how to feed them.

Nice history and the lady at the tasting room was very nice and knowledgeable, wine prices a bit on the high side, try the Shiraz very good.

Haven’t been in years! MUST go again! Ivy has got more than just a passion for wine! Ivy’s story is a true inspiration and well done to a proud father! I had the privilege of getting to know the du Toit family who made me feel welcome, at home as treated me as one of the family! I’ve also made use of their function and catering facilities and was not let down on the evening of our client function! I will make use of their facilities again! You will not be disappointed! Living in Cape Town, it is worth the drive! I will surely miss Jason, the Cellar Cat who welcomed and entertained us! Have you ever seen a picture of the CEO of a bank, Ivy the winemaker, me the PRO and a proud Cat on a table between wine bottles and spittoons in the news paper? Long live Jasons Hill! Regards, Chrisna
