Enjoyed a light lunch with a bottle of Welmoed’s Sauvignon Blanc. Restaurant service was friendly and efficient and setting is great for small kids. Came home with more Sauvignon Blanc and some Kumkani Shiraz Viognier. Well-priced everyday drinking wines.

Tasted the Kumkani range (mostly) and loved the Infiniti Brut MCC – a steal at R70. Worth a visit for that alone.
Estate is beautiful with a bit of a corporate feel. Had a friendly if not-so informed tasting.

wines lack a bit of quality but well priced drinking wines. I found a nice Pinotage that I thought was good value. Just to much wine to choose from. Hostess was not well informed and tasting room had no read feel

I recently bought a welmoed pinotage in a Dutch supermarket. I’m glad we have this nice wine in The Netherlands as well cause i quite liked it. It has a nice after taste.
