Spent weekend in guest house for friends’ wedding. Enjoyed superb picturesque views of the valley. Perfect setting and hospitality for this occasion. Will definitely return for another visit.

Spent the weekend in their guest house – extremely comfortable with a great breakfast. Walked from there to Nabygelegen, along various farm roads through neighboring vineyards. The day was hot so a little challenging, but worth every step of the way.

Beautiful winery with very nice view of the mountains. Very simple and nice design of the tasting room. Some wines were sold out so we were only able to taste Rose, Chenin, and two entry level sweet red and white wines. Rose and Chenin were very cheap (R20 per bottle). Good value for money.

We visited Val du Charron during the Wellington Harvest Festival. They had literally labeled their wine 3 weeks before the festival. They had a beautiful Rosé and stunning Chenin Blanc. There is a beautiful guest house and the plans for the tasting room soon to be finished sounds incredible. Definitely worth a visit in the near future.
