Very good wine! The Sauvignon Blanc Life from Stone, the Chardonnay Method Ancienne, and the Cabernet Sauvignon Method Ancienne, are all superb wines. Could not help myself and purchased a case of each before they new what happened to them! Was fortunate enough to still get the Cab 2004! Nice ambience.

Used to love this place (especially the whites) but do I detect a slip in quality? I think so yes…the new wholeberry is not up to standard…but overall still a great experience!

My favourite wines all come from this estate. I love the old world way of doing things, even though you end up paying a bit of a premium for it. I would go back again and again and go out of my way to purchase their wines. Make the effort to learn the stories behind the wines, and it will charm you the same way it did me.

Ongelooflike wyne, vriendelike proelokaal personeel, pragtige uitsig. Om nie te praat van die aardse, minimalisme wat die proelokaal bied nie. Werklik ‘n moet-stop in die Robertson vallei.

Die wyn was bietjie droog, but none the less, I REALLY enjoyed it. Total face-lift since 2005. The setting is picture perfect! Love the brochures on which you can record your tasting notes. A few other farms in the region also had them-absolute bliss for the serious wine recorder.

AMAZING! The wine is absolute experience! They spend alot of time presenting the wines and share the story of their Passion for the vines. A very special experience. A no compramise, no nonsense approach to wine! Truely the best in the Breede Valley. A MUST if your in the Robertson area.

Great surrounding, great service (they let you stay and lock up, if you want to stay for more), and Life from Stone is still legendary white wine, other white wines are great too.
