So went back to taste and i must say the only thing special about Ruitersvlei is that you are likely to be alone in the rather bland tasting room and hence you can call it a private tasting.
Wines are nothing special and you may find yourself trying to Justify the quality wil the low prices

We visited Ruitersvlei on a busy Saturday morning. I got the feeling that they were short staffed but the lady that assisted us was friendly and helpful. Not the best interior and the wine matched up with it. The prices were cheap, but so was the wine. Nice view over the valley….and the N1 though.
