So after our GREAT experience at Van Ryn’s we were super excited when we saw Olof Bergh Brandy cellar on the Breedekloof route. Unfortunately they are not open to the public for tasting. DAMN. I’ll leave them on the list though for now. Maybe they’ll change their minds in the near future and share some of their bandy making secrets with us.

@Cecil I have received some feed back from the Olof Berg Team:

The main reason for our not having the product at on consumption at outlets like the one mentioned is that we are not operational in that area at all due to our staff compliment, we barely manage to do the retail trade and that we are tactical in the off consumption area/retail trade only.

However I will ask our rep and sales manager in Cape Town to specifically go there to the Table Bay hotel in the Waterfront and see if we cannot get the product in on their buying list.

Vir verskeie jare drink ek net Olof Berg brandewyn. Ek het 16/03/2009 tot 22/03/2009 in die Kaap gaan verlof hou en was woonagtig in die Table View hotel op die waterfront. Dit was vir my teleurstellend dat daar nerens Olof Berg beskikbaar was nie. Die hotel sowel as verskeie restaurante het net Klipdrift brandewyn wat ek glad nie drink nie. Die hotel en die restaurante ken nie eens die naam Olof Berg nie. Ek woon in Vryburg en koop so 2 kaste Olof Berg per maand en hier hou alle restaurante Olof Berg aan. Doen bietjie bemarinkin in die Kaap asb
