Most magnificent Chenin Blanc tasted as yet. And red muskadel – ALWAYS a winner from Nuy. Visit the cellar – much better experience than the shop at the main road.

Quite a far drive to the farm, and the staff seemed quite perturbed to see us there…wanted to know if the little wine shop on the main road was closed. We just wanted to see and experience the farm and not another generic wine shop but OUR MISTAKE as the service was crap and the wine more expensive than at the wine shop on the main road.

Muscadel and more muscadel!! I’m stocked up for the winter. Didn’t see much of the farm and there was no real story to where they came from. Tell me a tale and I’m yours . . . and your wine is mine. I found the tasting lady a bit intimidating, but maybe it was because it was so early.

The Muscadel Kings. We were unlucky enough not to taste the Nuy White Muscadel 1986, but lucky enough to buy 6 “others” for only R30 a bottle.
