Really awesome to finally get to see where all that box wine comes from. Its actually a beautifull and tastefull tasting room/restaurant and there is too much wine to taste every thing they had.
Celest(name may be wrong) gave us the tasting she is a good pourer and thats it! no attempt to give us a bit of info on the farm etc.

Namaqua’s White Muscadel as well as the Red Muscadel have won Bronze Veritas awards. The Red Muscadel has also won a Gold at the Muscadel Association. The Spencer Bay Pinotage 2010 has won an International Decanter Gold Award http://www.decanter.com/dwwa/2012/wine/namaqua-spencer-bay-pinotage-2010/7951

De Keldery restaurant very nice, enjoyed the 2011 Sauv blanc. Spencer Bay red blend very good.

I just received a email from Namaqua Wines. It states:

“We do not have a supply problem in Durban at the moment and I have asked our representative in Durban to phone him. I will follow up and make sure that it has been sorted out.”
