Merwida offers great wines- that do not break the bank.

I think what impresses me most is the understated elegance of the wines and the really affordable prices. Very more-ish Cab Sav – under R60 per bottle; the Sauvignon Blanc (has a fantastic nose that delivers on the palate) under R40 per bottle and the good old Merlot Rose (which if you like strawberries, you would love), something we refer to as ‘braai wine’ just R30 per bottle.

I finished off the tasting with the Muscadel- which was nothing short of nectar on the tongue (R40 per bottle).
