Beautiful curvy brunette wearing a short tight fitting black dress… Of course we loved the wine! :D Unfortunately it’s another tasting room where all your wines are poured at the same time and if you don’t ask they don’t explain anything about them.

We had a very pleasant experience. The chocolate and wine pairing was interesting and I enjoyed the Winmaker’s Selection range of wines. Good MCC, Chardonnay and Syrah.

Had a wonderful time at Lourensford, despite the poor performance of the Springboks. Special thanks go out to Jane Jacks who made the Lourensford experience something spectacular. Wine was great and so was the chocolate and coffee!

nice wines, lovely setting!
the restaurant was lovely for meals and we had breakfast there too!
only downfall, they left us alone to try the wine and didnt explain or introduce the wines at all so that was slighty off putting!
apart from that lovely!

A fabulous and cozy tasting experience for 18 people (we booked in advance). Chocolate pairing and the tastiest nougat I have *ever* had!

Experienced an informative and cozy tasting. Tasting assistant was very well mannered and you could observe his passion for wine. Excellent desert wine.

This is an establishment that easily surpasses any wine farm i’ve visited to date. Every little detail, wether it be gardens, deli, wine-tasting, chocolates. . .is done to incredibly high standards.

If you own, work at, or are involved in the hospitality industry within South Africa – you need to visit, and explore this magnificent treasure. The staff are welcoming, cordial, and enthused in their respective vocations.

Not sure about what to do in the winelands, and you want to impress family, friends, or guests – head off to this South African wine Mecca!!

I cannot wait to return to Lourensford and enjoy this fine South African establishment.

Eersgenoemde wyn is ‘n inflasiewenner teen R35! Ons gaste her terstond ‘n kis daarvan gekoop.

This is a farm that I always take my friends to – you can be sure that there is something for everyones taste. We started with a coffee tasting from freshly roasted beans – the best coffee in the whole of SA! After that we oted for a bit of a cheese tasting at the farm’s cheesery. They spesialize in various cheddar cheeses ranging from six to twelve months. This is also the best cheddar made in the whole of SA! We got some cheese and we were ready for the business end of the estate. . . the wine!

The friendly staff welcomed us promptly and we tasted some wine, overlooking their ultra-modern wine cellar! Patrick, the guy who presented the wine had a pasion for the wine, and he was very knowlegable!

They have an enormous wine range that caters for every palate! The wines I loved was their Viognier, Shyrah, 1700, and the winemakers reserve Chardonnay.

Go there and you are sure to have a great time!

I love their barrel tastings. Timothy Witbooi, the assistant winemaker there is very knowledgeable and really explained the wines very well.

Great setting with nice bronze sculptures. We were welcomed by a friendly lady who started us of with the Chardonnay Viognier blend. The had some nice promotional special, but unfortunately most of the promotional specials were sold out already. I really enjoyed the 2008 Viognier @ R70 as well as the 2007 Syraz @ R90. The 2005 Seventeen Hundred was the cherry on the top, really yummy and creamy @ R140. We also tried some of the estate honey liqueur, very sweeeeeet. Eventually opted for the Syraz.
