Discoverer Winefly - 48 farms visited and 49 reviewed.

I like Daschbosch. Denise is a friend of mine, and so took us through all the wines. She is definitely a very friendly person and knows a lot about wine.
I love the wines here because they are all very easy drinking wines and at such great prices!! They are real value for money!! Be sure to pop in here if you are on this wine route

This is one of the hidden gems in the Breedekloof. Really lovely tasting rooms and friendly staff. Look out for their specials as you can snatch some great bargains. Really enjoyed the GE chardonnay.

Secret Winefly - 360 farms visited and 454 reviewed.

The cousin of Groot Eiland & Nuwe Hoop. This was winery number 5 for the day and out of them all, Denise was the most friendliest, talkative and informative host. She immediately made us feel at home and we could even choose between 2 different soups. I picked the Broccoli and Blue Cheese and J picked the Butternut & Bacon Soup. YUMMY!

We tasted some of Nuwe Hoop’s wine, seeing that they are not open to the public. The Chenin Blanc was very light and easy drinking at R17 and the same for their 2006 Merlot at R27.

I will definitely return soon to try more of the Daschbosch range and to enjoy a bit more of Denise’s company. She can teach a few people in the valley a thing or two about hospitality.
