Very nice tasting lady. Good information and very nice wines for the price. Esp the chenin blanc, but don’t forget the port.
I visted them in December. Very friendly staff at the tasting room. Furthermore the pinotage and hope marquerite chenin blanc was awesome. Not to miss when visiting the Greater Hermanus/Botrivier/Stanford Area
Thanks again to the wonderful Beaumont family, great place to stay, lovely people and most important fantastically interesting and complex wines.
The young lady who conducted our tasting was very informative and friendly. Really enjoyed the Mourvèdre and the other wines that we tasted were also very nice and of good quality. I also liked the farmy feel and the wired soccer player in the tasting room.
Loved the farm. Could sit on the stoep all day and drink wine. I loved both the Chenins and the Mourvèdre. Siska was very friendly and infromative. Pretty good Pinotage as well (coming from a non-Pinotage drinker…)

Off the beaten path but oh so worthwhile…friendly knowledgeable service and really nice wines. The Hope Marguerite (wooded Chenin Blanc) is fabulous. There is something for everyone’s pallet AND they make & sell sweet chili sauce as well!
Happy with the experience. Small tasting area in the cellar gives an old world feel. Friendly and knowledgeable tasting room attendant Cisca made the experience special. Hope Marguerite is a fantastic wooded Chenin and also really enjoyed the Ariane. Highlight however is the Goutte dOrr Noble Late Harvest. Beautifully balanced acidity with the sweetness of the botrytis grapes.
Hope Marguerite a white, big Chenin (Spit and Swallow.)
Sebastian’s Hope marguerite has few peers in the Chenin Blanc stakes in my opinion, but well worth dropping in to taste their range of other wines too, particularly the Ariane red blend and their drinking chenin is also excellent. Small, friendly place with some really good wine and some average but well priced stuff too. The Hope Marguerite definitely stands up as one of the finest Chenin’s in the country. The single varietal Mouvedre is also a treat and definitely one to watch out for; it may just develop beautifully over the next couple years.
Fanatastic Wine Farm, very hospitable and great wine. Also great cottages to stay in, simple and rustic charm. There is also great walking to burn of the wine calories.
small boutique celler very friendly and informative wine maker watch out for the pinotage
