A really beautiful tasting room with very stylish wines. The chardonnay has true finesse. Loved everything about this place. Really funky labels for their Noble Savage range. Check out the ‘bracode’!
I should also mention that the Sauvignon and Cab Sauv are also extremely good. Beautiful tasting room.
The very best Chardonnay that I have tasted in South Africa. Therese was an excellent host. One to watch!
Popped in for a quick tasting on a rainy Monday morning. The winemaker Therese conducted our tasting and it was very enjoyable. I found the vineyards on the slopes pretty amazing as well as the Chardonnay. They also have a pretty funky label for their red blend. Do go and check it out.
The Chardonnay is fantastic and will be one of SA’s best if the wine tasters have any sense. Beautiful farm. Cannot wait for the Reds!
One of the biggest drawcards of the estate is you do not just get personalised attention from the winemaker Therese, you get to enjoy fantastic Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, all the while enjoying a stunning view of the bottom Cabernet block. The Chardonnay in particular is a future super star, with the Sauvignon not far behind. Cannot wait for the release of the reds down the line. Well worth a visit.
Bartinney is located right next to wine of my favourite farms Camberley. The good thing is Bartinney does not dissapoint. At present they have 2 wines for tasting and sale a young Sauvignon Blanc and a young Chard. The wine maker Theresa took time off her harvest to give me a tasting the wines are fantastic and show the potential of the terroir here no wonder the surrounding farms are focusing on Sauvgnon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. I cannot wait for the Red
