Tell us about your experience at Allée Bleue
Went with some guests from Paris, France to Allee Bleue & it’s French influence was very appealing. The starlet pinotage is on my christmas ‘wish’ list.
Re-visited the farm yesterday. Loved the newly released MCC. Very friendly & knowledgable tasting room attendant.
Nice experience, tasting room beautiful, attendant attentive even though a rep tried to monopolise her time. Pity about the wines. The top end reds were all extremely bitter on the mid palate and follow through. Apparently a new wine maker has taken over after these vintages.. Let us hope he understands the concept of handling wine gently to avoid that bitterness. Relatively new release MCC Rose fantastic.
these guys taught me that a bordeaux is actually a cabernet sauvignon, shiraz and pinotage blend, so ja…….it was interesting….
Fabulous views! Friendly but sometimes over eager staff. Wines are good but nothing exceptional. Go to the restaurant – food and service is great. A tad over priced though.
I love the wines high alcohol but so goood !
We where on our way to another winery but got stuck here. what a wonderfull tasting and great wines. really enjoyed it!
Went on the 26th March for Lunch, Feta & Butternut Quiche was amazing will be back Wine also very good
Visited in winter so the courtyard was not operational, but great tasting and good cheese platter. Will return in summer to enjoy alfresco.
If you are a Pinotage lover this is definitely the place to go to!! Fabulous view over the mountain’s and a very knowledgeable host, very friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff and good wine made our time here pleasant. The outside courtyards has modern and fresh appeal to it. It’s a great spot for long and lazy summer afternoons. The chairs were comfortable and I found it difficult to tear myself away from them after the tasting. We had the best olives ever and I’m so upset that I forgot to buy some. Next time!
Loved the olives!
