I think its more about the family here, not so much about the wine.
Would have loved to taste the wines I didn’t know. Boekenhoutskloof range only 1 available.
We went on the Red Bus and hopped off for a wine tasting.
The visit to Farm 215 during December 2011 was a good one. I love the Snowbush and Cats Tale!
so many wines you don’t know what to taste! Although I’m not a brandy drinker the Brandy tasting was very interesting.
Beautiful garden for taken photos, we enjoyed the friendly and efficient service. I liked the Sauvignon Blanc!
If you see the owner (an old lady) you understand the name Goedvertrouw… She is a friendly old lady, running this farm on her own after her husband passed away. very interesting wines!
Red wines served at wrong temperature, it didn’t do the wines any good!
Long gravel road, but we enjoyed the trip and the wines. Visited during the pink week end.
The most beautiful Cellar I’ve ever seen, cold without any aircon, as it is two or three stories underground. Love the fact that they are organic!
The music in the Cellar and the love for what they are doing, make these wines special!
Lovely setting, wonderful wines and a great young man assisting!
We visited on a Sunday afternoon well before closing time, no cheese platters available! Reason for that : They had a lot of international visitors and didn’t have time to purchase cheeses. Tasting room assistant not very friendly! Wines very pricey!
Loved the Barrel Fermented Chenin 2010!
Tasted at the new premises today! wonderful Chardonnay and I loved the Cabernet!
We had a wonderful tasting and we tasted the difference between French and Hungarian oak barrels, what a huge difference! I’ll be doing promos for them soon.
Good wines at good prices. Loved the newly released Grenache!
I had a wonderful time as part the promo-team of Angie Stephenson. Anthony took us on a tour through the vineyards and then we had a tasting of wonderful wines. Well priced wines!
The Cape Blend is good value for money. Good wines overall and an interesting little shop!
I loved the tasting room, could sleep there!
Excellent wines! Friendly staff and Beautiful valley!
The tasting room assistant was a bit clueless, but the wine made up for that. Loved the Shiraz. Lovely relaxing atmosphere under the trees!
We did their ice cream and wine pairing tasting. Mistake….. The Shiraz and Cab Sav ice cream was good, the Merlot and Pinotage I did not like and having ice cream with wine just b…..r up your pallet and you can’t taste the wine at all.
The food looked good, so maybe we can go back and have a bite and taste wine next time.
Very friendly knowledgeable tasting room assistant.
We did a food and wine paring Sunday Lunch at Johan’s. Wonderful views, wine and food. They’ve got their own herb and veggie garden, so you eat from the garden!
Going back soon for a Saturday Dinner!
