We had such a good experience!! that view is just to die for! Loved the wines especially The affair!!! The service started off slow but she warmed up as soon as she realized we knew a bit about wine.
We popped in during our trip in April…. though they have a stunning tasting room and great wines, the service is terrible! The staff couldn’t be less interested in us…. a quick rumbling off about the wine and that’s it… very disappointing and left quite a bad taste in our mouth! Doubt i’ll be back!
Boy did we get stuck at this farm!!! friendly staff, great cheese platter and very nice wine!!!
The vanilla chardonnay is a winner, especially to introduce wine to non wine drinkers!!
The best, most informative tasting ever!!!! Werner is really great! He knows his wines and is ready to answer any questions! Will definitely be back to do the tri-nations tasting!!
I wen’t to bilton for the second time a week ago, and I remembered why it’s one of my favorite farms! Not only is the wine delicious, but also the service makes you feel like you can stay forever! Moira did our tasting and she was so energetic and fun, also very informative and comfortable! Loooove the sir Percy!!!
I have mixed feelings about this farm…. I’m not one for commercial and touristy…. but with wines and cheese like theirs you can’t help but love it!!! The cheese platter at the goat shed is great value for money! and the goat tower is pretty neat! I’ll be back, even if it’s only to get more wine! HE HE!
One word describes Muratie…… UNIQUE!!!!
I loved the red wines! The history of the farm is so cool and it creates a certain ambiance you don’t often get on farms these days! Loved it!
We got there at 3:30pm on a Thursday afternoon and was greeted by an empty tasting room…. weird, as they have a sign stating they close at 4pm. Then someone came down the stairs with a very unimpressed look on her face….. as if we interrupted something important. This was the mood we got throughout the tasting! The wines aren’t bad at all, but the atmosphere spoiled it a bit.
WOW! My favorite so far! The tasting by the picnic area was sooo awesome! They have great wines on offer, I loved the Sauv blanc, and that 1674……… Amazingly YUMM!!!!!! I can’t wait to come back!!
Very disappointing! The presentation of the wines was so uninspirational! It was as if the guys just learn the words by heart and say it up like a poem. NOT COOL! The tasting room is very nice inside and it was cool to look onto the bottling process! One day I’ll be rich enough to afford one of their wines!
Very nice tasting room! A bit uptight for my taste but well informed and friendly staff none the less. Good wines but a bit pricey. There is a beautiful restaurant under the trees that I would love to visit some day!
This is one of those places where you walk in, and feel right at home! You even want to take off your shoes and put your feet on the couch!
The tasting was amazing! The staff at Rickety bridge show a lot of passion for the farm and the wine! The cheese and chocolates paired with the wines was such a nice treat.
what a great chardonnay! YUM!!!!
We went on the cellar tour and what a waste of time that was! The child that took us on the tour sounded like she was reading a speech. She could not take or make a joke to save her life. The wines are nothing to get excited about ,even though the experience to taste them in the cellar was unique. Definitely a waste of time and money.

Not the most impressive estate or wine, but a really good experience!!! Such good service!!!
Loved every second of our visit!!! Beautiful view, yummy wine and great service!!!

what a great chardonnay! YUM!!!!
What a view!!! This was one of the most informative tasings I’ve ever had! Alice was great at describing the wines and the methods used!
Loved the Jess Rose! just a pity it’s sold out!!
I come back for it!
horribly comercial!
Not big on brandy, but very nice setting!
This is one of those farms you can never forget! The river cruise is something very special!

Absolutely wonderfull! something different with a great view!
Very chilled vibe! Alway a good wine! Service at the restaurant wasn’t so great though…… thank goodness for the wine!
