Such a great place…. very nice little gem in Durbanville…the Sauv Blanc was lovely
Was the only wine estate we visited the Sunday of the Wacky wine on our way back home and must say I was happy we left this one for last, The staff was very nice and the Muskadel was very enjoyable,
The staff is very nice and friendly, Also right in town, so why not take a look inside????
had a weekend in the b&b, such nice people and had a blast with the horses when they came for a swim with me in the river. The wines are just nice easy drinking wine.
Why would you go to Robertson and not visit this place, i mean its in town, you can walk there if you like, had alot of fun here. Wil be going back.
Was here during the Wacky Wine, but it was so full could not really move, so will def have to go back when its not so busy, but wines were very nice..
Ive been here so many times. This is the one Estate where we just hang… and when I say hang I meen, come in the moring and stay the whole day and just add to our party , will be going back very soon. Why…???? Because we can!!!
So friendly and beautiful… enjoyed every moment
I spent first few years of my life in Clanwilliam and have been in the Cederbergs so often before I was 18 years old, Its apart of who I am and always have been, The first time I climbed up to Wolfberg Boog I was 5years old, I grew up seeing Cederberg Cellar becoming the beauty that it is today, my dad knows the Nieuwoudt’s well, but now at least I’m allowed to enjoy the wine and not just the scenery , o yes and to feel even more proud….. The man standing on the rock… that’s my dad.
I was not expecting to enjoy Groot Constansia as much as I did, We where told to expect a very touristy place, to just go and take a pick at the parking lot and then drive on, but I think maby because we went on a Tuesday morning things went very well. Everyone was friendly and we enjoyed the experience… even got a glass out of the deal.Dont get that anymore.
Since University I have been here a few times and that is saying alot, for I have a firm believe that a wine tasting manager or assistant can make or break a Wine Estate, there are Estates that I will never visit again because of this but Delheim does not have this problem. I have always felt welcome and the wines were very enjoyable. Hope to visit soon again.
