The tasting at Klein Constantia is like a well rounded and exceptional 5 course dinner. Every wine holding its own, and finishing it off with the cherry on top – Vin de Constance. You cannot argue with hundreds of drinkers through hundreds of years! Still exceptional…
Had a great day at Bodega restaurant yesterday. Lovely stoep, play area for kids and good food. Service a bit slow but friendly.
Great view and love the design of the labels etc to reflect great cellar design.
Was there for the Sauvignon Blanc Fest – must say didn’t know you can get so many different Sauvignon Blancs from the same farm to taste so different from each other!
I loved them though, really enjoyed the Durbanville Hils Sauv Blanc 2008 + 2009..
Fireplace is really cosy in winter. Ask to taste some olives with your wine – yumm.
Wines great – but a must to end off with is the Noble Late harvest – exceptional.
they are definitely geared for big groups, still worth it. A stalwart when having to take the visiting family around on a Sunday.
Love their Bouquet Blanc – fruity but dry.

great courtyard and drive through the farm always enjoyable. No charge for a tasting! Lovely relaxed tasting room and friendly service.
Elgin is such a great winemaking area – lovely mild climate. This is the wine region of the future – watch out Stellenbosch!
Great view from tasting room, relaxed and friendly service. Try the Almenkerk Sauvignon Blanc, it’s great!

PS. As the place was quite full for the festival I did not get a stiff upper lip at all while there, I am happy to say…

Well trained and friendly staff that know their product. Can recommend this farm as a well rounded experience.
great overall wine farm experience (read lots to do)
Very good reds

Presentation is great, love the pink, although it could be a bit much for the men.
Their red was good.
Best view I have ever seen from any wine farm, – I know – but this is quite something!
Good winefarm, although a bit off the beaten track…
