Didn’t rate this place, found the wines disappointing with Brett on the reds and a watery Sauvignon blanc. The restaurant was overpriced and the food was presented in a very unappetizing way….
Best place for sundowners and snack
Lovely wines!!
Love the Pierneef range! Looks a bit clinical from afar but well informed warm and friendly staff
LOVE these olive products. If you don’t eat olives, try these and you will be hooked.
Great Bordeaux blends, loving the Morgenster 2003, there older vintages rock.
Great Nebbiolo blend too…
Great place to relax and take in the scenery with an Italian twist
This is one of my favourite places to visit. Standing on the balcony with a glass of their chilled Cape Coral and watching the birds of prey drifting on the updrafts is something surreal. These wines are are far from the typical and made in the European style. Something that some of our South Africanized palates may not fully appreciate with our coffee pinotages and sometimes overly reductive Sauvignon blancs…
Werner, the wine tasting centre manager, is the quintessential wine lover. He relays a enthusiasm for the product he represents that can only come from his inherent passion and love for wine. The setting is perfect and their wonderful wines are crafted with great attention to detail. Small and intimate, I love this farm. Domeya shows a warm welcoming atmosphere in the winter which goes perfectly with a glass of their award wining 2005 Pillars Syrah and vibey and invigorating in the summer, just in time for a chilled glass of their Chard. A must visit for all
